Shop. Early C18. Brick in irregular bond, with ashlar dressings. Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 windows.
Ground floor rusticated with the joints breaking round openings to form voussoirs. To left elliptical carriage arch to Old Bakehouse Yard. Right of this 4 round arches with keystones, formerly an open arcade but now with a door to left and 3 windows. Fanlights formed by elaborate late C19 wrought- iron grilles. Cornice over.
Rusticated quoins above. 1st floor has 8-pane sashes in eared architraves. 2nd floor has brick string and 4-pane sashes in shouldered eared architraves.
Pulvinated top frieze, cornice and parapet with pilasters and ball finials, probably added mid C19. Steeply-pitched roof with tumbled-in brickwork in the gables. Corniced brick end stacks.
Rear has stair projection and rear wing with 12-pane sashes.
Interior has fine early C18 open-well stair with carved tread ends, wreathed and ramped handrail and turned balusters with square knops.
