II
Pair of cottages, early C18 altered in early C19. Rubble with roughly-shaped quoins except for C19 heightening; south extension roughly-squared stone with C19 cut and tooled dressings. Scottish slate roofs. Single storey, 2+2+1 bays. Centre part has 16-pane sash windows with tooled lintels; coped gables, stepped end stacks with chamfered caps. Lower left cottage has similar window and boarded door on right in chamfered surround; coped left gable with similar stack. Extension to right has boarded door in alternating-block surround and gable to right with raised reverse-stepped coping.
