II

Farmhouse: mid C17, possibly early C18, altered C20. Brick- nogged timber-framing, tiled roof: corrugated iron roof to cross wing. 'T' plan, 3-bay, 2 1/2-storey stem, probably 2-bay, 1 1/2-storey cross wing: lean-to along one side stem, single storey. Gable to road: framing 2 panels high per floor. Four-pane window on left, 2-light casement right of centre, ground floor: 4-pane window first floor. Angle-braces main posts to tie beam: single-light window above in gable, weatherboarding above collar. Weatherboard gable to leanto on left. Right return: blocked window on left; late C20 French doors to right. Lean-to brick post to right, boarded door, single-light window. Projecting wing on right, boarded door to right of centre in gable, shuttered window over in gable: collar and tie beam truss. First floor: 3-light casement in centre, 2-light either end. Angle brace from corner post, both ways from first main post, and towards road only from second. Weatherboarding to last panel over cross-wing roof. Two diamond- set brick stacks rise through roof slope on other side within last bay. Interior not inspected. Two-bay house with external gable chimney extended one bay up to and partly into lower cross wing.
