Details
GUARLFORD CP B 4211 SO 84 NW 1/91 Guarlford Court - II
House. Probably early and mid-C19 with C17 remains. Brick and timber- framing with tile roof. Two storeys. South-west facade has two paralell gabled wings at right. To the left is a range of three irregular bays which has a brick dentil course at the eaves and a doorway to the right of the first and third bays. The two wings are each of one bay and have sashes with glazing bars. The left-hand one has a two-storey bow which has tripartite windows. Chimneys to left of first bay on front wall, in line with second bay, and on return walls of wings. The right-hand wall of the wing has exposed framing with an irregular mixture of close-studding and square panels. At the rear there is a brick range parallel with the front range. This continues to the south-west under a lower roof and has a gable with framing exposed in square panels and a truss with V-struts above the collar. Interior: not accessible at time of survey (July 1986).
