Parish church. C13 fabric of earlier church incorporated in rebuilding of nave and restoration of chancel by Ainslie and Blashill 1862, C13 west tower with top stage probably of 1466. Coursed and squared sand- stone rubble with ashlar dressings, tiled roofs. West tower, nave with south porch and chancel with north vestry. West tower: three stages with moulded plinth and embattled parapet and clasped buttressing, traces of row of corbels of former parapet below later top stage, single trefoil- headed lights to south side. Nave: four bays, 2-light traceried window to left and two similar windows to right of gabled porch which incorporates C13 timbers with dogtooth ornament in roof; inner south doorway c1200, two orders, inner moulded and outer chamfered springing from crocket capitals, C19 shafts. Chancel: two bays, largely C19 with two 2-light traceried windows. Interior: contains C13 font with scalloped circular bowl.
