SU 63 NW OLD ALRESFORD Armsworth Park House (formerly 7/7 listed as Small House 14 yds S.E. of Armsworth House, in Armsworth Park) II

Kennels now house. C18, C19 & C20. Brick with old plain tile. Mid C18 narrow double piled 2 bay kennel building with 2 bays added to one end then wide hipped wing added across this end. 3 bay, 2 storey front with hipped gable end at right. English bond brickwork and in left 2 bays on each floor bulls- eye lights, with radiating glazing bars. In right bay C19 door 6-flush- panelled door top glazed and to right and above C19 tripartite sash. Stepped back hipped gable end with C19 2-light casements. In front of this and to left end of building 2 C20 single storey projections. Roof of low ridge over 2 left bays with small hip stack at left, and larger ridge stack over centre bay. To right over right bay ridge rises hipped wing. Small C20 stack built onto left corner of gable. Kennels were associated with the old Harmsworth House and at one time kennels of the Hampshire Hunt.
