House and added cottage now row of cottages, shop and cottage. C16 refronted and extended C18, shop inserted C19. Timber-frame with brick encasing and additions, upper wall of old part tilehung, old plain tile roof. 3 bay timber-frame with one bay addition to left. Plinth. C18 planked door in solid segmental headed frame each side C18 leaded wrought iron 3-light case- ments in segmental openings. Left bay has C19 shop front of bow window with top-lit door to left and cornice with blind box over. Above 3 3-light C19 leaded wrought iron casements and fishscale tiles. Left addition has C18 planked door in solid segmental headed frame to right and on each floor C18 3-light leaded wrought iron casements. Roof continuous with large ridge stack between left bays of older building and freestanding stack at right end.
