PERLETHORPE THORESBY PARK SK 67 SW CUM BUDBY 1/131 Terrace walls and gazebos at Thoresby Hall(formerly listed as one item with Thoresby Hall) 11.8.61 G.V. II

Terrace retaining walls and gazebos. 1864. By A. Salvin for the third Earl Manvers. Rockfaced ashlar with ashlar dressings. Pilasters and moulded plinths and copings. Parallel terrace walls on 2 levels, the lower level with projecting square central bay and octagonal corner gazebos. Gazebos have round headed openings and strapwork parapets. Walls have obelisk and lion finials and several urns.
