LOWER SAPEY Clifton Upon Teme Knoll Cottage

(Formerly listed as The Knoll, LOWER SAPEY)

GV II Cottage. C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-frame with painted brick infill, plain tile roof, detached brick shaft on rubble stack with oven to right gable. Two storeys, two structural bays, irregular fenestration; mainly C20 casements; gabled brick porch to left; One and half storey timber-framed bay to left of main structure with straight tension braces; rear: C18 wing of brick with small scantling timberwork.

Framing: square panels four high to wall-plate.
