Farmhouse. Probably C17, refronted in early C19. Timber-frame with brick
infill. South front faced in brick. Sandstone slate roofs and brick stacks.
Rectangular plan aligned roughly east/west with projecting wings to south.
Two storeys. South elevation has 1:3:1 windows, glazing bar sashes with
cambered heads. Brick plat band. Thin horizontal slits with three nesting
holes to each gable. Entry to right of centre beneath gabled early C20
porch. North elevation has exposed timber-framing.
