sandstone ashlar, part timber-framed with rendered infill and sandstone
rubble with hipped slate roof and brick ridge stack. Original part of two
framed bays aligned east/west; external rubble chimney with offsets and
rebuilt stack on south side. C19 rebuilt wing adjoins to north with large
external rubble chimney, brick stack and bread oven at north end. Also
large chimney at junction of the two ranges. Two storeys. Framing: two
rows of square panels at first floor level, collar and tie-beam truss
with two struts at east end. Main east elevation: C19 part of three bays
Windows are all 3-light C19 casements with cambered heads. Central entrance
also has a cambered head, a panelled door and a transom light. The gable
end of the original part to the left has a 3-light C19 casement on both floors.
