EARDISLEY CP LOWER WELSON SO 25 SE 2/81 The Green - II House. Probably late C17 to early C18, altered mid-C20. Timber-framed with painted brick infill on rubble base and concrete-tiled roof. Two framed bays aligned north/south; external rubble chimney with tiled off- sets and brick and rubble stacks at south end, also later external chimney with rebuilt brick stack at north end. Single storey and attic with dormer. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate, short straight braces in lower outer corners of upper outer panels, collar and tie-beam trusses with struts. East front elevation: windows are all 2-light C20 casements and have plank weatherings on the ground floor. There are three ground floor windows and a C20 raking-top dormer with two 2-light windows. Main entrance in south bay has a gabled canopy on straight timber brackets and a C20 door. Attic lights in gable ends. Large C20 single-storey flat-roofed extension at rear.
