6/138 Churchyard cross about 5 yards south of the vestry of the Church of St Mary GV II

Churchyard cross. C15, restored in early C20. Sandstone ashlar. Square plinth, two steps up to large cubic base rising to octagonal top with rounded corners; gabled niche on west face of base encloses septfoil cusping around 2-centred inner blind arch; early C20 octagonal shaft and capital (RCHM Vol I, p 239).
