2 cottages with attached outbuildings. C18 of several builds. Rubble,
partly coursed, pantile and Welsh slate roofs, partly with stone slates at
eaves. 2 storeys. The Nook, to left: early-mid C18; coursed rubble,
pantile roof with stone slates at eaves; one first-floor window; quoins to
left; to right, partly-glazed door in quoined ashlar surround; on each floor
a 2-light casement window in flush ashlar surround; shaped kneeler and
raised verge to left; end stacks; to left, lower outbuilding, with board
door to right, raised verge to left. Corner Cottage, to right: mid-late
C18; rubble, Welsh slate roof with stone slates at eaves; central part-
glazed door, and on either side of it a 2-light casement window with deep
lintel; on first floor, a 6-pane sash window to left and a 2-light casement
window to right; ashlar coping to right; brick end stacks; to right,
outbuilding with quoins to right, ground-floor board door, first-floor
shuttered opening, pantile roof. All the buildings have reversed
crowstepped gables. Interiors: (not inspected): ground-floor room to right
of door of Corner Cottage has fielded.panel shutters. Corner Cottage and
attached outbuildings included for group value.
