Stables about 10 yards
north-west of No 12
(The Old Black Boy)

Stable. Early to mid-C19. Brick with plain tiled roof. Two levels with
dentilled eaves cornice. Two bays. Main south-west elevation has two
ground floor semi-circular arched openings, a loft door and a tall central
entrance with a cambered head, a stable door and a transom light with five
glazing bars. External brick and sandstone steps at south-east gable end
lead up to a ledged and battened door to the upper floor level. Interior
not inspected. The stable is clearly visible from the Droitwich Road and
is situated close to No 12 [The Old Black Boy (qv)]. Included for group
value.
