MOCCAS CP MOCCAS PARK SO 34 SE 4/45 Barn at Home Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. 1783-4, probably by Anthony Keck. Brick with hipped roof of graduated stone tiles. Five bays with centre slightly advanced beneath a dentilled pediment. The entrance has a semi-circular arch. Other bays each contain a semi-circular headed recess containing hit-and-miss ventila- tion holes. Imposts continued as band. (Thompson, N: "Moccas Court, Herefordshire - I", Country Life, Vol 160, pp 1477, pl 10, 18.11.76).
