Pair of houses with shops to ground floor, now one property. Mid C19. Red brick with slate roof. Double-pile plan with 2-bay front elevation. 3 storeys. First and second floors have sash windows with glazing bars and flat heads. To centre of ground floor is a pair of doorways, RH one now blocked and with C20 casement, LH one with C20 glazed door. The doors are within a single surround which has 3 pilasters with Ionic capitals and a moulded flat hood on shallow scroll brackets. Doorway flanked by 2 shop windows, LH one C19 with pilasters and cornice on cut brackets, RH one later, simpler, and set slightly higher. 2 red brick multiple ridge stacks. Included for unusual doorway and for group value.
