SK 46 SW PARISH OF PILSLEY MORTON ROAD 4/27 (East Side) Morton Road Farmhouse and attached outbuildings GV II

Farmhouse. C17 and C18, altered C20. Rubble sandstone and coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings. Slate roof with brick gable end stack and ridge stack. Stone coped gables with moulded kneelers and ball finial. Two and three storeys with two storey outshut. South elevation of six irregular bays, with angle quoins and former angle quoins in line with the ridge stack. Left to right: 2-light recessed and chamfered mullion window with dripmould, window with recessed and chamfered surround with dripmould, C19 window with flush stone surround, doorway with chamfered stone surround and C20 glazed door. C19 window with square section stone surround, doorway to outbuilding with stone surround with slight moulding. First floor, left to right: window with recessed and chamfered jambs and lintel and hoodmould, C20 window with lintel, 3-light recessed and chamfered window with hoodmould. North elevation of outbuilding has a blocked doorway with chamfered surround and hoodmould and a 2-light recessed and chamfered window with hoodmould. West elevation with a partly blocked 2-light window with flush stone surround and mullion.
