House and cottage. Early C19. Coursed hammer-dressed mixed red and yellow
sandstone with eaves modillions and painted V-jointed quoins. Graduated
greenslate roof with stone and rebuilt brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays
with Hill Cottage of single bay under common roof. Hill House has top-glazed
panelled door in pilastered surround under dentilled cornice, and sash windows
with glazing bars, all in painted stone surrounds. Hill Cottage has panelled
door in painted stone surround under cornice, and similar windows.
