Pair of attached houses. Early - mid C19 with few later alterations. Stone rubble
with brick dressings. Slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. Axial stack to
left and gable end stack to right with brick shafts.
Plan: Pair of attached houses with No. 1 to left and No. 2 (Camellia House) to right.
No. 1 is of 2-room plan, with entrance to left and front room to right heated from
the axial stack ; shallow rear service room. No. 2 is of double depth plan, with
central entrance and principal room to front left and right, room to left heated from
the axial stack and room to right from the gable end stack. Shallow rear service
rooms. The houses are built against the bank at the rear.
Exterior: 2 storeys. No. 1 has half-glazed C20 door to left, C19 12-pane sash with
cambered brick arch and brick surround to right at ground and first floor.
No. 2 has central half-glazed door with overlight, fluted pilasters, Doric cornice
with triglyphs ; similar 12-pane sash to right and left and 3 similar sashes at first
floor. Left side blind. Right side has sash at ground floor to right.
Interior: Not inspected.
