3/45 Chyvarloe Farmhouse GV II
Farmhouse and garden walls to front. Circa early C19. Shale rubble and dressed granite walls with dressed granite quoins and jambstones, slate sills and shallow brick arches. Half-hipped scantle slate roof with brick chimneys over side walls. Plan of kitchen/living room, left, and parlour, right, entrance passage between leading to central stair between rear rooms of kitchen, left, and dairy/pantry right with communicating passage between back kitchen and pantry under stair landing against back wall. 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3-window south front with central doorway with ledged door. C20 windows to ground floor and circa late C19 8-pane horizontal sliding sashes to first floor. Interior not inspected. Dressed granite coped rubble garden wall to front with central entrance gateway with dressed granite round-headed piers. One of a group of 4 farmhouses comprising this small hamlet, set in unspoiled coastal surroundings.
