Details
MULLION MULLION COVE SW 61 NE 5/87 Winch House GV II Winch house, circa mid C19. Serpentine stone rubble with large rubble quoins and timber lintels to openings. Renewed slate hipped roof with clay ridge tiles. 2- storeys, asymmetrical. West side: 2-light casement window with glazing bars, 6 panes per sash, on left hand side. On first floor, central 2-light casement window with lapped glass. Stone steps on right leading up to south arm of harbour. North side with double timber planked door on left with 2-light casement window on right. Opening below for winch. Timber sash window, 3 panes per sash, in centre of first floor. Positioned at top of slip on east side of Mullion harbour. Later iron winch on stone plinth adjacent to the west side. Included for group value.
