Details

LANDULPH FORE STREET, Cargreen SX 46 SW 6/162 Rose Cottage 28.4.76 GV II House. Early C19, with few later alterations. Rendered stone rubble. Half-hipped asbestos slate roof; stack to each side with rendered shaft, and stack to rear left. Plan: Double depth plan with central entrance; principal room to front left and right with shallower service rooms to rear. Attached to rear left a single storey wash house. Exterior: 2 storeys, symmetrical 3-window front; with C19 sashes; first floor has 16- pane sash to right and left, central 12-pane sash, all in plain raised architraves. Ground floor has central half-glazed door with 20-pane sash to right in plain raised architrave, C20 French window to left. Attached to front left and enclosing the front door, a conservatory. The right side has a small single storey C20 addition; C20 window at ground floor to right and 2-light casement at first floor to right. Rear has 2-light casement at first floor to right and left, and 2 central single lights. Ground floor has central door and 2-light casement to left. Small single storey wash house attached to right. Interior: Not inspected. The original joinery may be intact.
