SK 23 NW PARISH OF HOLLINGTON MARSH HOLLOW 7/58 (West Side) Ivy House Farmhouse II

House. Early C18. Red brick with stone coped gables and moulded kneelers. Tiled roof with central brick stack. T-plan. Two storeys plus attics. First and second floor brick bands and dentilled eaves band. East elevation of two almost symmetrical bays. Ground floor with two wooden cross windows, the right hand one with segmental arch over a flat head. Two 2-light windows above with flat heads and segmental arches above. South gable end has two blocked segmental arched windows to ground floor, one similar above and a 2-light window in the gable. Lower rear wing with dentil eaves cornice. Inside the front range are two rooms divided by a broad chimney stack with an ingle- nook in north room with four small cupboards with raised and fielded panelled doors. South room has raised and fielded panelling on the north wall and a raised and fielded panelled stone chimney piece with fluted keystone. Dado around the other three walls. Double cornice.
