BOURNMOOR LAMBTON PARK NZ 35 SW 5/18 Inset Statue of Mercury 100 metres north-west of Biddick Hall II
Statue of Mercury on pedestal. Probably C19 lead statue on later stone pedestal.
Pedestal has cyma-moulded plinth, sunk panel on each face and corniced top. Statue of Mercury with winged helmet and sandals standing in a pose remininscent of the Eros statue in Piccadilly, London.
