SENNEN SENNEN COVE SW 32 NE 4/354 The Old Cottage - GV II Cottage. Circa late C17 or early C18. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Wheat-reed thatched roof. Original granite chimney over left-hand (party) wall, gable end on the right. Plan: Originally 2 ground floor rooms with chambers over mostly in roof space. Later service room at right angles behind the left-hand side. Large fireplace in left-hand room. Exterior: 2 storeys. South front has ground floor openings only, a small window on the left and a doorway right of middle. Interior: C18 ceiling beams; original hardwood roof structure with pegged collars and apices.
