GV II

House, formerly crosswing to No.5 (q.v.). C17, refronted C18. Colourwashed stucco front with incised lines, colourwashed brick gable above band course. Side and rear colourwashed and rendered witchert, some brick, also colourwashed. Old tile roof, gable end to road. 2 storeys with attic, 2 bays. Street front has early C18 barred sash to ground floor with thick glazing bars. Door at right with modern lean-to hood. Box-sash to first floor and segmental headed plate glass attic window. Side elevation has band course and 2 weathered rubblestone stacks with brick flues, the west one now reduced to eaves level. Interior has chamfered and stopped ceiling beams. 1st floor rear room has early C18 panelling. C17 roof structure intact.
