Holy well. Circa C15. Square slatestone rubble with granite dressings. Stone roof.
Plan: Small rectangular well house with the sink inside.
Exterior: Single storey, on chamfered plinth. The front gable end has chamfered
granite 3-centred arched doorway with granite cill and C20 wooden gate. The doorway
is recessed with a flat stone lintel over. The stone roof has a chamfered eaves
cornice, and the upper part of the gable had been removed, creating a flat top.
Interior: Vaulted stone roof, with niche to rear right. The sink takes up the whole
of the floor area.
This well is not scheduled as an Ancient Monument.
