House, including garden walls, gate-piers and gates at road front. Circa mid C19, largely rebuilt circa late C19 and extended in the C20, retaining a small wing and some walls of the original house. Stucco to original wing, otherwise dressed granite brought to course with elvan and granite dressings. Dry Delabole slate roof with gable, quarter-hipped and polygonal ends, projecting eaves. Crested clay ridge tiles and one hip finial. Plan: Irregular double depth plan with canted end of original wing projecting forward on the right as a deep cross wing; entrance hall at front of adjoining shallower cross wing and probably 2 room garden front in axial range at the rear projecting at its left-hand end and with C20 extension at its right-hand end. Exterior: 2 storeys, plus attics. South-east entrance front has canted end of original stuccoed wing projecting forward on the right and gable end of late C19 cross-wing on the left. Original wing has original 12-pane hornless sashes to ground floor openings and horned copies above. Doorway is within circa late C19 gable-ended glazed porch with marginal panes and diamond-pierced barge-boards. 4-panel door. Left-hand south-west garden front (like other late C19 fronts) has plinth and mid- floor band. There is a gable end projecting forward on the left with 3-storey canted bay window and 1 window front set back on the right with trellised balcony in front of the first floor. The windows to this, and other circa late C19 elevations, are 12-pane horned sashes. Rear is a regular 4-window garden front. Interior: Not inspected. Front roadside walls are granite rubble with rock-faced copings. There is a dressed granite name plaque inset. Wide gateway on the right has rock-faced granite, monolithic piers and original chamfered wooden gate with arched and cross bracing.
