The following amendments shall be made to the list description for Item 11/92:-

Lines 1 and 2 shall be amended to read:-

'Possible farmhouse, later 2 or 3 cottages, now one house. Late Cl7 or C18 fabric much modified early Cl9 and mid C20. Painted stone rubble. Slate roof, ........'

Lines 26 and 27 shall be amended to read:-

'shutters with strap hinges. This room is at lower floor level. Floor to upper level carried straight through in front block. Roof structure C19.'

ST CLEER TREMAR SX 26 NE 11/92 West Tremar Farmhouse - II Farmhouse, now house. Late C17, with addition probably of mid C18, addition of circa C19 and some later alterations. Painted stone rubble. Slate roof, hipped to left with front lateral stack rising through gable, with shaped top; gable end to right with gable end stack. Gable end stack to rear wing. Partly slate-hung. Plan: 2-room plan, with larger room to left heated by front lateral stack; passage and smaller room to right heated by gable end stack. Probably circa mid C18, a rear wing of 2 storeys and one-room plan, heated by gable end stack, and added to the rear left. Circa C19, a stable was added to the right end, at higher ground level. Exterior: 2 storeys, asymmetrical 3-window range. First floor has one window to left and 2 to right, all 16-pane sashes of C19, and small C20 light to the right of the gable. Ground floor has panelled door, with 16-pane sash with flat stone head to right, C20 12-pane sash to left of the front lateral stack. Set back and attached to right, single storey stable with 3 doors to front, corrugated asbestos roof with gable ends. The left side has 4-pane sash at ground floor and 2-light C20 casement at first floor. To left, the rear wing has C20 glazed addition at ground floor, 2- light casement and door, both of C20, inside the addition. The first floor level is slate-hung, with C20 2-light casement. The rear of the wing has external stack, single storey rendered lean-to on the inner side of the wing. The rear of the main range has C20 addition to centre at first floor, with flat roof. To left, the rear is slate-hung, with C20 raised walkway leading to a C20 door at first floor. The rear of the stable is built into the bank. Interior: The front room to right has irregular cross-beams, not chamfered. End fireplace has roughly hewn granite jambs and cambered timber lintel. The room to left has C19 ceiling joists. Fireplace to front lateral stack has roughly hewn granite jambs and cambered timber lintel. Windows to front and side have plain plank shutters with strap hinges. This room is at lower floor level. Rest of interior not accessible at time of survey (October 1986).
