CAMBORNE CONDURROW ROAD SW 63 NE Higher Condurrow 8/45 (north side) Wolf's Shaft Engine House II
Mine pump engine house, now derelict. Probably c.1907, for Condurrow United Mines. Uncoursed granite rubble with quoins, bob wall of dressed granite blocks, window arches of variegated brick, chimney finished with red engineering brick. Rectangular plan on north-south axis, with bob wall to north and circular chimney attached to south-east corner. Three stages set back over a basement; round-headed openings including bob-wall window with dressed granite voussoirs and keystone; chimney complete, with moulded annular cornices to both stages. Interior: machinery mountings of very large dressed granite blocks. History: housed 80" cylinder.
