gate-piers to front
GV II
House and garden wall and gate-piers to front. Circa mid C19. Stone rubble with
rendered dressings. Roof with gabled ends with slate on front slope and asbestos
slate to rear. Rendered brick chimney stacks on gable ends. Double depth plan with
room on either side.of central stair hall. Narrow service rooms to rear.
Symmetrical 3-window front with central projecting 2-storey canted bay. C20 PVC
windows in original openings with rendered segmental arches with rusticated keys.
Ground floor with C20 windows flanking central canted projecting bay containing
original porch with canted side walls. String course decorated with key motif above
ground floor openings of porch. First floor with central bay continued with C20
windows in original sash openings beneath chamfered lintels with chamfered jambs.
Flanked by C20 windows in sash openings.
Interior not inspected.
Stone rubble faced garden wall to front with ashlar gate-piers with moulded caps and
ball finials.
