4/126 Cartshed and implement store at 9.4.75 approximately 10 metres south west of Clowance Farmhouse GV II
Cartshed and implement store. Circa mid C19. Granite and killas rubble rear and left hand side walls, roughly hewn granite monoliths along the front and the right hand wall of studwork clad in weatherboard. Grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends the right hand end with a corbelled gablet possibly for a bell. Rectangular 6-bay plan, open to the west side and built on ground sloping down to the right. 6-bay open west front has a granite post between each bay, above each pier a spacing block and a moulded bearing pad carrying the wall plate. The post between bay 2 and 3 from the left has been moved slightly to the right; the 5th from left by a has double ledged doors and the right hand bay is infilled with studwork clad in weatherboard. Interior has the original king post roof structure. One of a group of unspoiled buildings ranged around a sloping partly cobbled farmyard, the whole set in mature wooded surroundings.
