Early to mid C17 timber framed cottage of one and 2 storeys with thatched roof sloping down over single storey part and with thatched outshuts. 2 "eyebrowed" casements lst floor of south front. Renewed wood casements. Irregular box frame - V bracing and collar trusses. Well House, Walnut Tree Cottage and Yew Tree Cottage form an important rural group.
