No number 55. C18. Colour washed brick, old tiled roof. 2 storeys. Ground floor; No 53 has 6 panelled door, 3 light wooden mullioned casement and double hung sash window. No 56 has 6 flush panelled door, canted wooden oriel window on brackets and left hand passageway, all under cornice hood. 1st floor 2 double hung sash windows in surrounds, band interrupted by windows. Glazing bars to all windows. No 54 (incorporating No 55), at the back, is C18, of flint rubble with red brick dressings quoins and flush sill bands, old tiled roof. 2 storeys, 2 casements, ground floor windows with cambered relieving arches. 6 panelled door, doorway on north now blocked up.
Nos 35 to 37 (consec), The Church Loft, Nos 45 to 54 (consec), Nos 56 to 59 (consec), Steps House, The Plough Inn, The Apple Orchard, The Old Smithy, West Wycombe Estate Office, Rose Cottage and Ness Cottage form a group.
