II

Farmhouse, early C19, now divided into two dwellings. Brown brick in
English Garden Wall Bond with roof of old slates. 2 storeys and
blind attic, 2 bays. A 2-storey, 3-bay wing at the rear (north-west)
completes a "T" shaped plan. Projecting brick plinth and 2-course
deep brick bands above ground floor and first floor windows. Framed,
ledged and battened door in chamfered frame under segmental arch.
3-light flush casements with terracotta sills and cambered arches with
turning pieces. Windows in the gables and rear wing are similar but
mainly 2-light. On the south-west side a later two-storey porch has
been added into the internal angle formed by the rear wing, this is
open-fronted with a wedge lintel over the opening.
Interior: Chamfered-beams in both sections.
