House, formerly a pair of cottages, and outbuilding. C18 and early C19.
Rubble with roughly-shaped quoins and dressings; graduated stone slate roof
with end stacks rebuilt in brick on old bases. East elevation 2 storeys, 2
wide bays. Left-of-centre boarded door in block surround, with blocked door
to right and angle quoins of original smaller house above. 4-pane sash
windows with slightly-projecting sills. Set back to left a lower outbuilding
with slit vents, blocked doorway with part-slatted window inserted and C20
sliding door. Left return of outbuilding shows 3 pairs of slit vents and
another in the gable. Similar rear elevation to house, and boarded door in
irregular-block surround to outbuilding.
