LANSALLOS LANSALLOS STREET, (south side), SX 2050-2150 Polperro 6/57 House adjoining three Pilchards Inn to the west 21.8.64 GV II

House and stable now house. Circa late C18. Painted stone rubble with asbestos slate roof with gable ends. Stone rubble chimney stack with brick shaft on left-hand gable end. First floor 2-room plan house with central entrance with external stairs on front, above ground floor stables which are now part of the house. 3 storeys almost symmetrical 2-window front. Ground floor with partly boarded 2- light casement beneath timber lintel on left. Projection in centre with plank door to ground floor, and entrance porch directly above locally known as an "orrel". Stone rubble steps to right leading up to entrance. Porch with rendered front retaining wall, glazing above with lean-to slate roof. Part glazed 4-panelled door within. Flanked by two Cl9 2-light casements with two C19 4-pane sashes directly above. Interior not inspected.
