Built for the sister-in-law of the Sculptor Nollekens, circa 1780-90.
Red brick 3 storey front. Finished in parapet form with panels of blind
balustrading standing on moulded string cornice, over windows 3 bay
front with 2 square widows and central 3-light semi-circular window on
2nd floor. 2 tall windows with keystones to arches and central 3-light
window with frieze and cornice over on 1st floor.
2 windows on ground floor and central 4-panel door, upper panels glazed,
with rectangular fanlight of 3 ovals, under Doric porch of columns, wall
pilasters, fluted frieze with roundel ornament and moulded cornice. Wing
to left hand one storey, has one window, 4 panes wide, to right hand, 4-panel
central door with ogee shaped doorhead and 2-light casement to left hand
with similar head. The garden front altered late C19. The interior has
contamporary decoration, fireplaces etc.
