LECONFIELD ARRAM ROAD TA 04 SW (south side) 7/13 The Manor House 7/35 - II
House. Late C18. Red brick stone and wrought iron, pantiled roof. 2 storeys and basement, 5 bays 3:1:1. 5 stone steps on brick arch with wrought-iron ramped handrails incorporating boot-scrapers, door of 6 raised and fielded panels under fanlight with radial glazing in panelled reveals and soffit. Doorcase with fluted pilasters and open dentilled pediment. Three 16-pane sashes with sills under segmental brick arches to left, to right blocked opening concealed by ivy at time of resurvey. First floor: 4 similar sashes and blocked opening to right. Axial and end stacks, hipped roof. Rear elevation: scattered fenestration. Semicircular stair turret: ground floor has door of 6 raised and fielded panels in panelled reveals and soffit and doorcase with brackets to moulded cornice: all curved on plan. First floor: round-headed sash with glazing bars and radial glazing under gauged brick arch. Stone coping to low parapet.
