- II
House. C16 and C17, altered. Front rebuilt late C18-early C19 in flint with brick dressings; rear similar but part C18 red and vitreous brick with first floor band course. Old tile roof, brick chimneys to left and centre. L-plan with half-hipped cross wing to right. 2 storeys and attic. 3 bavs. Irregular barred wooden casements. Flat-roofed dormers in centre bay and above C19 lean-to infront of left bay. Board door in lean-to; C20 panelled door in architrave frame with cornice hood on scroll brackets to right. C20 brick extension to right with C20 colonnaded verandah to rear. Interior retains timber framing in partition walls, that between right bays with heavy ogee braces, remainder with curved braces. Curved wind- braces. Cross wing has moulded cross beam and stop-chamfered tie in central partition, and moulded spine beam in rear room. Imitation moulded beams and plaster cornices to remainder of ground floor. Framing in left bay is of later C17 build.
