6/234 Detached chimney at SW595290, Wheal Grey
GV II
Disused detached chimney, serving engine house and boiler house qv. Circa 1897. Granite rubble with brick upper stage. Round plan with flue opening to north side. Tapered 2-stage chimney with moulded brick collar dividing the stages. Upper collar fallen. This chimney is the flue for the former 36-inch cylinder beam pumping engine that was fitted to the nearby engine house qv.
