Farmhouse. Late C18 with later additions and alterations. Reddish-brown brick in Flemish bond, with red brick and ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roof. T-shaped on plan. Main facade of 3 storeys, 2 bays, that to right set back, and 2-bay range to left. Entrances to returns of left had bay, that to right a 6-fielded-panel door with overlight with vertical glazing bars set into projecting porch, that to left return a board door with overlight with vertical glazing bars under cambered head with keystone. Main facade: ground floor has tripartite window, the centre an unequally hung, 9-pane sash between unequally hung 3-pane sashes under elliptical arch of red gauged brick with ashlar keystone. To right a 6-pane sash under elliptical arch of red gauged brick with ashlar keystone. First floor,to left a Venetian window in tooled ashlar surround, the centre a 12-pane sash with radial glazing to head under round arch with ashlar keystone. To second floor of left bay a 12-pane, unequally hung sash with radial glazing to head in ashlar architrave with keystone. Right-hand bay has 12-pane round-headed stair window between first and second floors. Stepped eaves. Hipped roof. Ridge and side stacks. Upper storey of left range is C20 and of no special interest. Rear facade of ashlar, 2 storeys, 2 bays. Plate-glass sashes to each floor below flat stone arches with keystones,those to ground floor very tall. Moulded eaves cornice.
