Group of seven tombchest. 1673, 1658, 1700, 1795, 1810 and 1801.
Tombchest in memory of Julielmus Seymons who died in 1673. Stone rubble chest with
rectangular slate lid, the latin inscription in italic lettering. Heraldic arms. Tombchest of wife of William Symons. C17 tombchest of stone rubble with slate lid with marginal inscription and verse in central panel.
Tombchest of Christian, the wife of William Symons, who died in 1658 and also John their son who died in 1659. Stone rubble chest with rectangular slate lid, the inscription in italic lettering framed by an aedicular surround decorated with an angel's head at the top. Fine quality lettering.
Tombchest in memory of John Anstis who died in 1790. Stone rubble chest with moulded
cornice and slate rectangular lid, with good quality upper and lower case lettering with serifs. Tombchest of John Spettigue, Gent, who died in 1795. Stone rubble chest with moulded cornice and slate rectangular lid inscribed in upper and lower case lettering with
serifs and in script.
Tombchest of Ambrose Braddon, who died in 1810. Stone rubble chest with rectangular slate lid and with inscription and text of Luke XV111,16. Tombchest of Margaret Braddon who died in 1801. Stone rubble chest with rectangular slate lid, signed E Jenkin, Tremain.
