Farmhouse. Early C19 with earlier range to rear and later additions and
alterations: Reddish-brown brick in Flemish bond to front otherwise English
garden wall bond, with ashlar dressings, and stone slate roof and with
pantiles to rear range. Central hallway plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays of which
the centre breaks forward and is pedimented. 2 steps to central entrance,
a 6-fielded-panel door with fanlight with decorative glazing bars within
recessed semicircular-headed surround and under Doric porch with frieze
and cornice. 2-pane sashes throughout with ashlar sills and channelled
lintels, that above entrance is recessed in elliptically arched surround.
Modillion eaves cornice. Ashlar copings. End stacks. Interior has
cantilevered staircase with rod-on-vase balusters and wreathed handrail.
Neoclassical cornice and archway with decorative pilasters to hall. Some
6-fielded-panel doors.
