9/204 Building at approximately 4 metres - north of No 1 Beach Cottage and Quay Cottage
GV II
Stores and stables for fishermen's donkeys. Circa 1870s. Killas rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate roof (some corrugated asbestos at far left) with gable ends. Plan: Long rectangular plan with pair of entrances at the right-hand end. Probably divided into 3 rooms with 2 full-depth rooms on the left, each with doorway at the front and window at the rear and 2 rooms at the right-hand end one behind the other with window in the front wall for the front room and window in the rear wall for the rear roof, loft in roof space used for storage. Exterior: Single storey. 1 window south-east front with doorways at left and middle and wide window on the right. There are 3 similar regularly spaced windows in the rear wall. The right-hand gable end has pair of doorways with small shuttered windows above to ventilate the gable. Original doors and windows throughout: ledged doors and 3-light casement windows with 6 panes per light. Interior: Not inspected.
