WEST ELLA WEST ELLA ROAD TA 02 NW (north side) 9/64 No 262 31.1.67 GV II
House. Late C18, extended and Gothicised early/mid C19. Brick, pebble- dashed and colour-washed, pantiled roof. Main range of 2 storeys, 3 bays, with central gabled porch, flanked to right and left by two-bay single- storey wings. Porch: pointed opening under raised coped gable. Boarded door. To right and left are 2-light casements with latticed glazing in plain surrounds, sills on shallow brackets and hoodmoulds. First floor: 2 similar windows, without hoodmoulds, to right and to left; blank opening to centre. Bracketed eaves, raised gables, end stacks. Left wing: 2-light casement with latticed glazing to right, blank opening to left, dentilled brick eaves cornice, end stack, raised gable. Right wing: two 2-light casements with latticed glazing flanking a blank opening; dentilled brick eaves cornice, end stack, raised gable.
