Farmhouse, now two farm cottages. Mid C18. Red Flemish bond brick
with ashlar dressings and a plain tile roof. Two storeys and deep
basement. Entrance front: two bays symmetrically disposed. Deep
slightly projecting plinth. Ashlar quoins to the corners. To the
centre is a C20 staircase with brick side-walls which rises above the
basement level to the ground floor doorway. At either side of this
are blocked basement entrances. To the ground floor are a central
1/2-glazed doorway with lateral 2-light casement windows replacing
sashes and at first floor level is a similar window to left. The left
hand side also has ashlar quoins and two 2-light casements to the
ground and first floor levels. The right hand end has a projecting
single storey gabled wing at left and ground and first floor windows
of 2 lights to right. To the rear is a later projecting gabled wing
of 2 storeys and 2 bays with a band dividing the floors. Hipped roof
with C20 tiling and central chimney stack of 2 flues.
