Details
NEWBOLD ASTBURY C.P. THE GREEN SJ 86 SW 4/51 No.3 (previously listed as cottage adjoining Black and White Cottages (to west)) 14/2/1967 GV II
House. Early C19. Red Flemish bond brick with a plain tile roof. Two storeys. Entrance front: three bays having a doorway at right with a panelled surround and a door of 6 panels, the lower two being flush and with a rectangular overlight. Before this is a gabled later C19 porch supported by arched brackets. To left are two windows of 3 x 4 sash panes and at far left is an alley doorway with a round-arched head. To the first floor are three sash windows of 3 x 4 panes. All the windows have flat-arched heads and stone sills. One central chimney stack and one to the left hand ridge. This item is included for group value.
