House. Circa late C17. Rendered and painted stone rubble and cob. Rag slate roof
with gable ends. Projecting stone rubble end stack on left with rendered renewed
shaft. Stack removed on right hand gable end.
Plan: 2-room and probably cross passage plan heated by end stacks. Larger room on
left and smaller room on right with fireplace removed. C20 extension on right hand
gable end and to sear, probably on the site of circa C18 service outshots.
Exterior: 2-storeys. Asymmetrical 3 window front with C20 rendered gabled porch to
right of centre. Flanked by two 2-light centre hung circa late C19 or early C20
casements with 3 above; C20 extension on right hand gable end.
Interior: Left hand room with roughly chamfered timber lintel, probably reused. C19
lateral stair against rear wall, opposite entrance, with stick balusters and circa
'C18 door to cupboard adjoining with raised and fielded panels.
Roof structure: Circa C18, A-frame construction with lap-jointed and pegged apices
and collars.
